1. Fit for a Princess!

I must admit, I am in love with this bride's dress!  As the title suggests, I think that this wedding gown is fit for a princess.  The bride decided to have her ceremony indoors, just in case of the weather, but luckily it was a beautiful day and the couple was able to take some beautiful photos outside after the ceremony!  All of her details came together perfectly to make for a gorgeous weddi…Read More

When I think of this wedding, I think of the elegant bride and her elegant bridesmaid dresses!  I feel that "elegance" is the perfect word to describe this mid-June Tapestry House wedding!  The pictures by Photography by Van Pelt perfectly capture the love that is shared between the couple, as well as how supportive their bridal party and family members were.  All the photos you see below are b…Read More

  3. Happy 4th of July Wedding!

This 4th of July we hosted a red, white and blue wedding at Tapestry House!  The tables were dressed in red and navy white white napkins.  Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple cut a small ice cream cake and served cookies to the rest of their guests!  It was a beautiful 4th of July evening and Dyann Diercks Photography was there to capture it all!  Our gardens here were in full bl…Read More

  4. “Mint” to be!

Can you believe it is already almost the end of July?!  One of the first weddings of this month involved an awesome mint green truck as a fabulous backdrop for photos here at Tapestry House!  I just loved her combination of colors with the mint green and the brighter pinks!  Definitely some great colors for a summertime wedding here in Laporte, CO!  The couple had a blast dancing with each oth…Read More

  5. The Dowry Had Twins!

Before we talk about this fabulous couple, I've got to explain the title of this post.  The bride's father had originally given the couple a dowry (essentially a transfer of parental property to the groom and bride) in the form of a goat.  Well, this goat soon had twin kids, leaving the couple with two new baby goats.  With special permission from the owners, they were able to have the two baby…Read More

  7. The Kentucky Derby Meets the Vikings!

What a fun and memorable event this early-June wedding was at Tapestry House!  It was the day of the Kentucky Derby, so each guest was asked to wear a hat fit for horse racing!  The ladies looked lovely in their Springtime dresses and large, floppy hats.  Later on, though, the groom's family decided to bring their culture into the mix.  The men broke out Viking hats which they wore during a ma…Read More

  8. Dancing the Night Away!

We can't believe that June is almost over!  This wedding was actually the first wedding of June that we had.  The bride used to be a dancer for the Fred Astaire Dance Studio, so she and her husband had a beautifully choreographed first dance that stole the show!  They had a blast dancing the night away...and Heather Gray Photography was able to capture it all!  Congratulations to our June coup…Read More

  9. All You Need Is Love!

Rain, rain, go away...but sometimes it makes for such beautiful photos!  For this particular couple's wedding at Tapestry House, it rained a bit, but luckily we have clear umbrellas that each guest can use in order to stay dry, yet still see the ceremony perfectly!  It ended up all working out beautifully and the couple had a gorgeous ceremony and very fun reception to follow!  Thanks to Pictur…Read More

  10. Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After!

Tapestry House had so much fun celebrating with this couple for their May 20th wedding!  They and their wedding party looked like they were having so much fun the entire evening!  The ceremony had a lot of special touches, including two special songs performed by members of the bridal party.  The bride's sister played the ukelele for the couple, too!  At the reception, they also added a lot of…Read More
